The TRA Education Foundation, a 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization, was established in September 1994 and operates to meet the educational needs of the foodservice industry. The mission of the TRA Education Foundation is to provide educational opportunities for restaurant careers in Texas. The Foundation’s primary goals and objectives are to:
- Promote public awareness of careers in the foodservice industry
- Enhance educational opportunities by providing professional development training for new and existing personnel
- Provide industry based education to culinary educators in an effort to reach new standards in high school foodservice education.
