Meet Our Houston Staff
Juli Salvagio, Executive Director
Juli was named Executive Director in January 2002, and has accomplished many things. She and her staff have had a number of successful events, including a record-breaking Gala with over 450 in attendance, a Dine Around, and the Annual Spring Golf Classic, totaling over $140,000 in net proceeds. In addition, the Houston chapter has launched a marketing campaign and
membership communications strategy which includes a trade magazine Greater Houston Restaurant Business, a website, promotional items, and marketing materials. In 2003, Juli looks forward to working with the local board and committees, to continue to further the grass-roots mission of the organization, through government affairs and educational programs.
Juli Salvagio brings a great deal of experience in management, sales and
marketing, and fundraising to the Greater Houston Restaurant Association.
Her background includes fundraising, marketing and public relations, as well
as, business development. Her past employment includes the American Heart
Association, the Adcetera Group and Enron Wholesale Services.
Juli is a graduate of Texas Christian University. She and her husband, John,
live in West Houston with their new baby, Jake, and their Black Labrador,
