Living Wage battle. I heard that the Houston Restaurant Associaton won their battle against a living wage. Folks are beginning to talk about instituting that in our community. Any of you Houston restaurateurs have any suggestions for how to go about organizing against it?
Yeah, "Strike Fund" is a fund that the Tx Restaurant Assn uses to fight against initiatives that hurt our business. Their Govt. Affairs department stays on top of that sort of thing and really helped us out. You can contact them on this website in the Capitol building.
